Adding Attachments and Recordings to an e-Bridge Case from CAREpoint 3
Share call recordings & 12-lead EKGs directly into an active CAREpoint 3 Intake case
Active-Case Logic: No case open → a new Intake case is created. One case open → attachment goes to that case.Multiple cases open → attachment goes to the front-most case. You can stack multiple attachments on the same case by repeating the share workflow.
A. Sharing a Call Recording (Phone or Radio)
Step 1: Click Call History on the right-side toolbar. Select the call recording you want to share, then click the Share button on the playback bar and choose CP3 Intake as the destination.

Step 2: The recording is added as an audio attachment (.mp3) to your active CP3 Intake case. A "Recording forwarded" confirmation notification appears.

Step 3: Confirm the destination. The EKG attachment is added to the active CP3 Intake case. A new case opens automatically if none is currently active.

B. Sharing an Email Attachment (e.g., 12-Lead EKG)
Step 4: In CAREpoint 3, click the Email tab in the left sidebar. Open the email containing the attachment you want to share (e.g., a 12-lead EKG).

Step 5: Click the Forward button at the top of the email, then select e-Bridge / CP3 Intake as the destination.

Step 6: Select the attachment itself (not the email body) — for example, the 12-lead EKG image file — to forward it.

C. Final Result — Both Attachments on the Same Case
.jpg?width=670&height=536&name=GD%20(9).jpg)
The CP3 Intake case now shows both attachments:
-
Call recording (.mp3) from the radio/phone call
- 12-lead EKG image (.jpg) from the email
Each attachment is stamped with the originating device and
timestamp so the receiving team can verify the source.
Tip: Repeat the share workflow to stack additional attachments onto the same case. To remove an attachment, do so before the case is finalized.
