# Adjusting Volume on CAREpoint 3
How to adjust the volume on CAREpoint 3:
1. Hold and drag the audio sliders or press the "+" and "-" buttons
2. "Active Audio" is for the call you are currently on and "Inactive Audio" is for any non-active communication (secondary call coming in or background radio traffic)
3. You can also adjust the volume for the specific resource (phone or radio) by pressing the button circled below and following the same steps as above
