Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication on e-Bridge
Steps to setting up MFA with SMS:
Note: Your device must have a cellular plan or phone number to set this up- From the web admin home screen navigate to "Devices"
- Search for the user account you are looking for and select the correct username
- Input the devices phone number under "Phone"
- Under "MFA Type" select "SMS"
- From the bottom of the page press "Save"
- On the actual device it will now ask for a 6-digit code when you attempt to login
- This code will be sent via text message
- There will be a check box you can select to not ask for a code again for a certain amount of time
- This duration of how long the code will last for can be set on web admin

Steps to setting up MFA with TOTP:
Note: Your organization will need an authenticator app up and running
- On the web admin home screen navigate to "Devices"
- Search the account you want to setup MFA for and click on the username
- Set the "MFA Type" to "TOTP"
- Click "Save" from the bottom of the page
- If you have the device on you select "Enroll TOTP" to the right of "MFA Type"
- A QR code will pop up that you can scan in your authenticator app
- If the device is not on you, next time you attempt to log in to the account on the device it will prompt you to "Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP)"
- Instructions will be displayed on the device on how to setup TOTP from there
- After setup when logging in you will input the 6-digit authentication code from your authenticator app
- There will be a check box you can select to not ask for a code again for a certain amount of time
- This duration of how long the code will last for can be set on web admin
