Shutting Down the CAREpoint 2

How to shut down the CAREpoint 2:

1. Using the on-screen keypad, press the sequence; #SHUTDOWN (#-7-4-8-8-3-6-9-6)
2. A message similar to "It is now safe to turn off the power" will appear
3. At this point turn off the power supply on the back of the CAREpoint OPE (the black box containing the CD-ROM)
   1. The switch for the power supply is located near the power cord plugged into the back of the CAREpoint OPE
      
   2. Turn the power supply from the "ON" ( 1 ) position into the "OFF" ( 0 ) position
4. Leave the power supply off for approximately 10 seconds
5. To power the CAREpoint on again, turn the power supply from "OFF" ( 0 ) to "ON" ( 1 )
6. The CAREpoint will begin to reboot. The "Startup" window will appear in approximately one minute
